About Our Site

The Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department website has now been online 1997, and we are very proud that our site is not only one of the first in the nation, but also one of the best fire and rescue sites on the web. We are sure you will agree. We started with a small site with a few pages and a few links. Now our site is getting bigger all the time. We now have hundreds of pages. We pride ourselves on how extensive our links pages are. Now covering 5 states and the District of Columbia.

We have done most of the work from the firehouse although some of the work is done remotely. To see some of the awards that this site has won, please check out our new awards page.
