Engine 151 and Chief 15 responded on the second alarm for apartment fire on Hampshire West Court in Company 12's area. Units arrived on the scene with fire showing from apartment fire on third floor. Units encountered heavy fire conditions on the top floor and worked for some time to control the fire that had extended into the cockloft area. Units opened up in the adjacent apartments were able to hold the fire in the original fire occupancy. Primary and Secondary searches were completed with negative results. Engine 151 operated in the fireground for about an hour.
