Four Story Garden Apartment - Fire Showing

Units were dispatched this evening for an apartment fire at 3331 Tea Garden Circle. Units arrived on the scene in the rear with fire showing from the second floor of a four story garden apartment. Engine 151 advanced a handline to the second floor while Truck 15 laddered the building and opened up and Rescue Squad 15 initiated the primary search on the fire floor. Other engine companies covered the third and fourth floor with handlines while Truck 12 opened the concealed spaces above. The fire was knocked down quickly and prevented extension to the upper floors and the primary and secondary searches were completed with negative results. A safety dispatch and a task force were requested to assist by Command. Damage was estimated at $100,000.
