Units responded to this house fire near the intersection of Chester Mill Road and Wallingford Road. Units arrived on the scene with smoke showing and subsequently found that the fire had started on the first floor of the two story portion of the home and involved the floor above and the attic. The fire had apparently been burning for some time had extended vertically and horizontally in various concealed spaces through out the home. A second alarm was eventually requested. Burtonsville units operated on the scene for about three hours.
