Just before 0300 hours, Truck 15 was dispatched on the Box Alarm for a reported house fire in the 13700 block of Styer Court. Clarksville Engine 52 arrived on the scene of two story detached dwelling with an attached garage well involved with heavy fire conditions in the family room and kitchen on the Charlie side. The fire had also already extended into quadrants “C” and “D” on the second floor and into the attic. Truck 15 was assigned by Command as the Vent Group Leader. They opened up and raised multiple ground ladders. Only an extremely aggressive attack by Engine 52 and later arriving engines prevented the house from being lost. The fire was confined to the areas found upon arrival. A second alarm was requested bringing Engine 151 to the scene after the bulk of the fire was knocked down.
