Units from the Laurel area were dispatched to a reported apartment fire at 13506 Attleboro Court in the Town Center Apartments off of Laurel Bowie Road near Contee Road. First arriving units reported heavy fire showing from the third floor of the three story garden apartment building. A second alarm was immediately requested due to heavy fire conditions and the possibility of people still trapped in the building. The 4:30 am fire was contained to the top floor apartment leaving little work for the second alarm companies.
