Early Morning House Fire on Jerald Road

Shortly after 0330 members the PSCC dispatched Engine 715 for wires arcing at Columbia Pike and Cherryhill Road. Shortly after that Engine 715B and Truck 715 were alerted for the house on fire in the 15900 block of Jerald Rd. Chief 810 arrived on the scene with a fully involved two story single family dwelling, and assumed a defensive posture. Truck 715 set up for heavy duty operations, eventually flowing both the bed pipe and the ladder pipe. Engine 715B ensured and expanded upon the water supply of the first due engine and protected the adjacent exposures. Engine 715 transferred to Station 841 and a Rescue Squad crew remained in service in quarters.
