The 2020 Rescue Squad 715 is a 2020 E-One Cyclone II Heavy Rescue Squad powered by a 500 HP Cummins ISX12 motor and an Allison EVS4000 transmission. The unit is equipped with a PTO drive Harrison Integrated Hydraulic Technology (IHT) system powering a 25KW Harrison generator, a 20,000 lb Ramsey hydraulic winch in the rear, and six pre-connected Genesis hydraulic tools. An additional valve was included to transfer power from 1 pre-connected line to a front bumper port, allowing additional hydraulic tool capability. The unit also consists of a 12,000 lb Ramsey electric winch in the front and a 9,000 lb Ramsey portable winch, which can be utilized in 3 locations on each side of the unit and the front and rear. Additionally, RS715 is equipped with 2, 9,000 lb anchor points on either side of the unit.
RS715 is equipped with a full Whelen emergency light package and complimented by Hi-Viz 12V LED floodlights on all sides and Hi-Viz Sirion light heads on the Will-Burt Light tower. Hi-Viz also makes all ground, work, and compartment lights.
The unit is equipped with a significant inventory including; Paratech ACME thread and Longshore Struts, Enerpac 50 Ton hydraulic lifting cylinders, Vetter high pressure and medium pressure airbags, Tractel grip hoists, portable Pelican scene lighting, on-board air system, Genesis E-Force battery-operated hydraulic tools, Hypertherm plasma cutter, Petrogen torch, and water rescue dry suits.
This $1.4 million resource officially went into service on October 25, 2020, at 0900 hours.
