Firefighter Bulla joined the Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department with his father in December of 1980. He quickly became a skilled Firefighter who enjoys the technical challenges of fire and rescue. He developed strong capabilities on the heavy rescue squad. His distinguished tenure in the Department includes serving on the Board of Directors, as Treasurer and Secretary, and serving as President during the year the Department moved into the new station.

Mark is the proud father of Katie and Michael Bulla, who grew up within the BVFD family, where his wife and son are volunteer members today.
