New Ambulance 715 Driver
Please join the BVFD in congratulating FFII Justin Hua who has recently completed the requirements to be cleared to drive Ambulance 715 as of February 2026!
Justin joined BVFD in October of 2022 and has been consistently training to earn his status as EMT in Charge (2/2025), his rank of FFI (11/25), FFII (2/26) and now as an Emergency EMS Driver. Justin completed EVOC 5/25 and has been rigorously working through the BVFD cognitive and practical examinations (ambulance functioning’s and knowledge, emergency laws, area familiarization, and hospital running routes). The final training phase required him to demonstrate proficiency in driving to numerous emergency calls under the evaluation of an experienced Driver. Justin went on a wide variety of emergency calls to meet the final requirements and earn his Emergency Driver status. The BVFD salutes his hard work and dedication and commends him on a job well done.
Chief Ryman and President Calderon salute to FFII Hua and all BVFD personnel for their continued dedication and commitment to serving this department and the surrounding communities. Keep up the fantastic work and go get ’em!
