Last night, BVFD had the privilege of honoring one of our own at the Burtonsville Lions Club Annual Community Awards Dinner.

We would like to congratulate EMT James Leung on receiving the distinguished honor for community service.

James joined BVFD in December 2023 as a Junior Member at just 16 years old. Since then, he has continuously demonstrated an outstanding commitment to serving the community and has grown into a stellar provider and dependable young man. His dedication, professionalism, and hard work have made a meaningful impact on both the department and the Burtonsville community.

Congratulations, James! We are incredibly proud of you and look forward to seeing all that you continue to accomplish.
