Chief Ryman and EMS Master Barnard Honored
Last night, two of our outstanding members were recognized at the Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Rescue Association (MCVFRA) award ceremony!
Chief Michael Ryman was presented the prestigious President’s Award for his contributions as a MCVFRA board member, District Representative, member of the Negotiations Committee, and more on top of his heavy volunteer workload as Fire Chief of the BVFD.
We are also thrilled to celebrate EMS Master Kelly Barnard, who was honored with the 2023 EMT of the Year Award.
Kelly has been a dedicated member of the BVFD since 2017, consistently delivering top-notch patient care and mentoring our new EMTs, aides, and drivers. In 2023 alone, she logged nearly 1,200 hours of service, always leading by example and stepping up to ensure our community is in the best hands.
We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and the impact they have on our community.
Please join us in congratulating them on these well-deserved honors!
