EMT Brown becomes EMS Unit Driver
The BVFD Officers congratulate EMT Cameron Brown on becoming our latest EMS Unit Driver in December of 2023.
Cameron joined the BVFD in September of 2020 and has been consistently taking training classes to earn his status as EMT in Charge and now as an Emergency EMS Driver. Cameron completed EVOC, then began working through the BVFD cognitive and practical examinations (on our Ambulance, emergency laws, area streets, and hospital running routes). The final training phase required him to demonstrate proficiency in driving on numerous emergency calls under the evaluation of an experienced Driver. Cameron went on a wide variety of emergency calls, including hospital transports, to meet the final requirements and earn Emergency Driver status. The BVFD salutes his hard work and constant dedication.
Chief Ryman and President Calderon salute EMT Brown and all BVFD personnel for their dedication and commitment to serving others and consistently providing vital staffing! Keep up the fantastic work!
